ENGLISH SERVICES (IN-PERSON)

Eligibility

1. Who can attend the services/classes?

Our services are open to everyone.

2. Must I be vaccinated to attend the services?

With the lifting of vaccination-differentiated safe management measures (VDS) from 10 Oct 2022, we will no longer be checking vaccination status at the entrance of our service venues. You are welcome to join us to worship in church regardless of your vaccination status.

Notwithstanding, if you or any of your friends/loved ones is unwell, kindly exercise social responsibility and refrain from attending our services/classes.

3. Do I need to book seats for our in-person English services?

No booking is required to attend our English services and Rock Kidz classes at The Star Performing Arts Centre and Marina Bay Sands Ballrooms.

4. Can I bring my children (under 12 years old) to the English services?

We encourage all children under 12 years old to attend our Rock Kidz children’s classes as the lessons there cater to their age groups. We seek your understanding that children under 12 years old will not be admitted into the English services to allow the congregation to focus on receiving the Word.

5. If I am not attending the service, can I just drop my tithes and offerings into the offering boxes at the venues?

Offering boxes are available at our service venues. If you need to drop your tithes and offerings at our venues, you may do so by informing our ushers on the ground.

6. Will the church be considering additional services (e.g. 4th service)?

We do plan to gradually resume more in-person services and will inform the congregation when the time comes.

7. Can I call the church office to reserve seats for wheelchair seating?

For congregation members who have movement disability or wheelchair requirements, please call us at 6602 9205 during office hours (Mon–Fri, 9am–6pm) for assistance.

What To Expect

1. What will happen at the in-person services?

We are looking forward to gathering together, just like the early church, to fellowship, break bread, pray, and receive a fresh word from the Lord (Acts 2:42). There will be live worship, partaking of the holy Communion and the giving of tithes and offerings at both The Star Performing Arts Centre and Marina Bay Sands Ballrooms. The sermon will be preached live at The Star Theatre with simultaneous broadcast to Marina Bay Sands Ballrooms.

2. Will there be any collection of tithes and offerings during the service?

Yes, we will be taking time to worship the Lord with our giving during the service. Those who wish to give their tithes/offerings can do so digitally via PayNow or Internet Bank Transfer. Alternatively, they can also drop off their tithes/offerings at our offering boxes.

3. Will there be any parents-with-kids room?

There will be a parents-with-kids room at Marina Bay Sands Ballrooms only. However, if you intend to bring your children aged 2 months to 12 years old to church, we strongly encourage you to check them in to our Rock Kidz classes so that they can enjoy the special programme catered just for them.

If your child is unwell, we seek your gracious understanding to attend the online service at home as we are unable to admit children with symptoms to our children’s classes.

4. Will there be someone who can pray for me before or after service ? Can I just come for prayer without attending the service?

Yes, our pastors and leaders will be present at our service venues to pray for you. Alternatively, you can write to us via https://www.newcreation.org.sg/get-help/#prayer.

‍5. What are the arrangements for members with wheelchair requirements?

For those with wheelchair requirements at The Star Performing Arts Centre, please contact us via https://bit.ly/nccsginfo for assistance.

For those with wheelchair requirements at Marina Bay Sands Ballrooms, please approach the ushers there for assistance.

6. ‍Is there a service where sign language is used, similar to pre-Covid days?

Yes, our Hearing Hearts team provides sign language interpretation of our English service at The Star Performing Arts Centre during the 2.30pm service. If you would like to get access to this service, please contact us via https://bit.ly/nccsginfo for assistance.

8. What happens if a person seated beside me starts to cough? I am not comfortable with that.

Please inform the nearest usher for assistance and they will assist on this matter.

9. Can I drink water inside the auditorium?

You may drink water during the services at The Star Theatre and Marina Bay Sands Ballrooms. Please note that no other food or drink is allowed.
