What is the allowable timeframe to make a claim?
You are encouraged to submit your claim within 2 weeks of purchase.
What is a receipt/invoice?
It is proof that payment has been made to the merchant for the purchase.
What is a “No-Receipt Claim”?
A No-Receipt Claim is applicable in cases where there is no official or valid receipt for purchase, such as:
- Lost/Unclear/Faded receipts
- NETS receipt only
- Merchant who do not issue official receipts (e.g. Carousell, neighbourhood shops, hawkers, etc.)
Can I still make a claim if I don't have a receipt or any supporting documentation?
You may still submit a No-Receipt Claim, but it will be subject to approval.
Can I claim for the vouchers/rebates/reward points I used in my purchase?
Unfortunately, these are not eligible to be included in the receipt amount you are claiming for. Please use the final amount paid to merchant (excluding the value of the vouchers/rebates/rewards).
What do I do if I am only claiming for a part of the receipt amount?
Please upload your receipt with a clear indication of the items you are claiming for, and enter the claimable amount in the “Claim amount” field.
What are the accepted file types that I can upload?
You may upload files with the following extensions: .jpg .jpeg .png .pdf.
What is the maximum file size I can upload?
The maximum file size is 25MB.
How do I know if my claim is successfully submitted?
You will receive an acknowledgement SMS with a unique claim number for tracking purposes.
What if I did not receive any notification after I submitted my claim?
Please click here to submit an enquiry, and your ministry administrator will assist you.
Why do I need to submit original receipt(s)?
For purchases that are above S$200, we will need to validate the purchases before processing.
Who do I pass my original receipt(s) to?
You may pass it to your ministry administrator.
Will I be able to get the original receipt back?
No, the original receipt will be kept by the Finance department for audit purposes.
What do I need to put under "Purchase description"?
Describe the items you purchased and their brief outline of its purposes/uses.
E.g. Masking tapes to seal boxes.
What does supporting documentation mean?
These are image(s) of NETs receipt(s), delivery order(s), order confirmation(s), credit card statement(s) or any form of proof of your purchase that will help us validate your transaction when you are unable to provide the official receipt.
Am I able to upload multiple images?
Yes.
Can I throw my receipt away after submission?
For receipts below S$200, we advise you to keep the receipts until your claim is received.
For receipts of S$200 and above, you are required to pass the originals to your ministry administrator – please paste it on an A4 paper, and label it with your claim number.
