Updating Of Particulars
- Why do I need to update my particulars?
In an effort to safeguard your personal data, and in line with the guidelines set out by the Personal Data Protection Commission of Singapore under the Personal Data Protection Act, New Creation Church will refrain from using national identification numbers (e.g. NRIC, FIN, passport numbers), unless in accordance with relevant requirements.
As such, the following will take effect from 22 August 2019:
- Your User ID for NOAH, our online church life system, will be changed to your registered mobile number instead of your national identification number.
- A new six-digit login PIN will replace your current NOAH password.
- From Sunday, 18 August 2019, your personal identification cards (e.g. NRIC, driving license) as well as your child’s existing Rock Kidz card that bears his national identification number will no longer be accepted to check your child in and out of class. Please use the new Rock Kidz card which you would receive in July, if you had updated your particulars prior.
As we endeavour to make the transition as smooth and convenient as possible for you, we seek your help to update your particulars and create your new login PIN via https://hub.newcreation.org.sg.
- My particulars in NOAH are up-to-date. Do I still need to update via https://hub.newcreation.org.sg?
Yes, you would need to update your particulars via https://hub.newcreation.org.sg as this allows you to create a new six-digit NOAH login PIN which will replace your current NOAH password from 22 August 2019.
- Can I choose to update my particulars on NOAH instead?
You would need to update your particulars via https://hub.newcreation.org.sg as this quick update form allows you to create a new six-digit NOAH login PIN which will replace your current NOAH password from 22 August 2019.
- If I have booked my seats for services at The Star Performing Arts Centre (The Star PAC), can I still use my national identification card to pass through the gates?
In August 2019, you will no longer be able to use your national identification cards (e.g. NRIC, driving license) to pass through the gates at The Star PAC. However, you may continue to use your registered access media (i.e. EZ-Link card or NOAH commemorative card) or the QR code found in your seat confirmation email to enter The Star PAC.
Children’s Ministry Rock Kidz
- Do I still have to update my particulars if I have already done so through the Rock Kidz’s particulars update exercise?
If you have already updated your particulars with Rock Kidz, you do not have to update your particulars again.
- Why do we need new Rock Kidz cards?
The current Rock Kidz card has your child’s national identification number on it and embedded in the barcode. The new Rock Kidz card will neither bear your child’s national identification number nor have this information embedded in it.
- How can I get the new Rock Kidz card for my child?
You may approach any of our servers from Sunday, 18 August 2019 to get a new Rock Kidz card for your child.
- When do we start using the new Rock Kidz cards?
You can start using the new Rock Kidz card to check your child into and out of classes from Sunday, 18 August 2019.
- I have more than one child attending Rock Kidz. Will I get multiple cards?
Yes. Each child will receive a new Rock Kidz card.
- Can I still use my NRIC/driving licence/EZ-Link card/Passion card to check my child into and out of the class?
No, these cards will not be accepted from Sunday, 18 August 2019 onwards.
- Can my child continue to use his student concession EZ-Link card to check into class?
No, it will not be accepted from Sunday, 18 August 2019 onwards as the student concession EZ-Link cards carry national identification numbers.
- How do I make class bookings for my child?
You can continue to use your current NOAH login and password to log in to NOAH and make bookings as usual. Bookings only apply if your child is attending Rock Kidz class at The Star Performing Arts Centre. The change in NOAH access will only take place on 22 August 2019.
- I am a newcomer. How does this impact me and my child?
If you intend for your child to attend Rock Kidz regularly, please create an account on NOAH. Thereafter, please create a six-digit login PIN via https://hub.newcreation.org.sg. From Sunday, 18 August 2019, you can approach any of our servers to get a new Rock Kidz card for your child.
